A 500 years old stone face.

Why round stones?

Named from two round stones brought from Omaha Beach (St-Laurent sur Mer)- Normandy, France - where on June 6, 1944 the Allied forces landed and got involved in a fierce battle.

I recollected these two simple stones in 2004. Not different from thousand of others laying on the beach and so anonymous among the others as the many thousands of men who lost their lives in that place.

Despite the name, this blog will not be exclusively dedicated to stones and rocks. Moreover, it will not be written only in English, probably. Portuguese is my "mother tongue" (sure you had noticed I am not an English native speaker...)

Well, who cares? Probably this is one more blog destinated to be read exclusively by its own writer...
